West Baden Springs Hotel Post #2

It took me a few minutes to take in all of the atrium

The awe-inspiring sight of the building Lee Wiley Sinclair had constructed, the enhancements made by his daughter Lillian, and the restoration undertaken by the Cook family transported me to a realm of wonder, evoking a sense of royalty.

It’s incredible to think that my husband’s second great-grandfather walked these very halls and owned this very place.

We often sat in awe, captivated by the reality of our surroundings. The food and impeccable service added to the overall experience.

We had artichoke dip, side salads, and pizza for our late lunch.

The food was not only delicious but also visually appealing.

It was time to explore the expansive grounds of West Baden Springs Hotel. We’ll return tomorrow for our trolley ride.
